Tax consultancy in all its facets is a core area of the ESC practice. This entails commercial tax and tax law expertise. With about 35 tax experts, ESC is one of Hamburg's largest tax advisory practices.

Services

One core area of expertise is conceptional tax planning for companies and private individuals. This entails in particular the structuring of and support for corporate reorganizations, corporate transactions, corporate succession and cross-border investments. We look after large family assets, structure asset succession arrangements and give accompanying advice on the establishment of family-owned companies and foundations.

Another important area is support to operational business. Here we would particularly highlight the production of annual financial statements and ensuring that rights are secured in taxation proceedings through tax returns, support during external tax audits, and managing appeals and proceedings before financial courts.
